PRESENTATION
The Cluster Trio (accordion, violin, piano) is a valid alternative to the more numerous groups (quintets, sextets, etc.) and the chamber music formations which perform the purely "classical" repertoire. Its objective is to offer a moving musical experience to concert lovers and those interested in single concerts characterised by solid virtuosity. In this new and original formation the peculiar timbre of the accordion prevails, thus opening new musical possibilities. This, together with a total and intense symbiosis among the performers, characterises the whole repertoire of the Trio.
By making use of elaborate formulae of interpretation this repertoire brings the best out of different forms and musical epochs with extreme versatility: from opera music to the Café Concert, from the Argentine dance (milonga, vals, tangos with choreographies of ballet-dancers) to the compositions of Astor Piazzolla, from the baroque melodies of Vivaldi to the best 20th century music, with the new form of the accordion always as protagonist. Light Italian and international music is also performed on request, in particular the great successes (evergreen) of entertainment music. For particular situations it is sometimes possible to extend the basic elements to include singers, ballet dancers and other instrumentalists. The living images in the site illustrate the description of this peculiar and original musical innovation, and invite the visitor to explore its full potential.
